St Faith

St Faith

St Faith is our third-largest ferry and comes fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable cross-Solent journey, including a Wight Taste outlet and pet-friendly areas. She entered service on 16 July 1990, making her the eldest member of our fleet.

MV St Faith was launched on 28 February 1990 at the yard of Cochrane Shipbuilders, Selby, Yorkshire, by Mrs Jacky Field, wife of the Island’s Member of Parliament at the time.

Facilities on board

St Faith hosts a wide range of facilities including a Wight Taste outlet serving hot and cold food and drinks, lifts, toilets and baby changing facilities, outside sun deck and dog-friendly areas.

At our outlets and vending machines, please pay using contactless or chip and pin, either with a bank card or Google or Apple Pay – cash is not being accepted.

Dog-friendly area

We have a dedicated area for your four-legged friends, where they can feel safe and socialise with other pooches.

Food and drinks

We have a wide variety of locally-sourced, hot and cold food and drink options in our Wight Taste outlet.

Sun decks

There’s plenty of space for everyone on board. Grab some fresh air on our outside decks and take in the views as you cross the Solent.

On 7 November 1990...

St Faith became the first ferry on the route to sail under the new Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries livery.
